The setting is the period during World War II. Hitller's regime.

A young girl and youth, both german, fall in love. Immensely. And suddenly purging of jews starts. The girl acually a jew, is seperated from her german lover. All jews are being driven out of Germany. The jew girl begins her journey in train to nowhere.

A youth in in his early thirties settled in London for last courple of years after a broken love affair decides to go back to his native country after clear cut indication of war being broken out. He is intellegent, brilliant youth who is enjoying life with gusto, be it in London, Paris, Rome. He may be bitter in love affair, but enjoys company of lovely ladies, high class food and wine, every best thing in life with self arrogance.

Both happen to be on the same train which takes to a port from where their sea journey starts towards far east asian countries. The ship is full of refugees like the jew girl and fellow passengers like the young man who would get down in bewtween during the journey. The ship's last port of call is Beijing in China.

The totally dejected jew girl and the arrogant, indifferent young man are confronted in a sheer coincidental happening. And next ten days there is a whirwind of love, hate, compassion, self hatred, realisation of a place of a woman in man's life, helplessness and sad partition.

The young man gets down at his destination port. The woman commits suicide from jumping down from the ship at Bejing.

Can this be a good story for a feature film ?

dont know what to post. quite confused. read article on blog queens. in time of india todays. surprised to read various views on intimate relationships being narrated in detail for thousand and thousand readers. is this sane ? why one basically thinks to bear him/herself in this manner ? is it a good culture ? Or bad ?
